I live in the Royal Burgh of Kintore,  Aberdeenshire, Scotland, along with my wife, Edith. We have two children, Gary and Dawn who have both flown the nest.

We have 3 Grandchildren, all boys, Gary and Fiona have Daniel and Joshua, Dawn and Warren have Nairn.

Apart  from researching Family Trees, I enjoy playing golf, presently not a member of a Golf Club, after previously playing at Insch, Huntly and Meldrum House. I enjoy walking, especially going up Bennachie, where you can see most of the  north-east from the Mither tap, not been up since we lost our Cindy who died 31/4/2011.

I have recently retired and I am enjoying my gardening.
